ABOUT ME
My name is Sarah Hendry I have over 20 years experience of working with young children and families from working/managing different childcare settings to supporting and helping families of all different backgrounds within their homes and communities.
I trained with the IAIM in 2003 and since then have carried out many courses within a Childrens Centre and one to one within families own homes. I have also demonstrated strokes and talked about massage to Staff in Day Nurseries and students in colleges.
My enjoyment and passion for Infant massage is still as strong as the day I completed the training and so when I left work in April 2011 to have my second baby it was the perfect opportunity to create my own Business which I have called Toes 2 nose!

ABOUT MY CLASSES
I run 5 week courses in local venues for approximately 1hr, the groups consist of 7 parents/carers and babies at anyone time as I feel that small groups benefit more than large ones, it gives parents/carers opportunities to join in conversation topics and ask questions/share experiences more openly.
Each week I demonstrate new strokes on a different part of the body using a doll, we have a discussion topic and a chance for a chat at the end alongside well deserved refreshments.
Please do not worry if your baby is due a sleep as I have spare dolls to practice strokes on. The classes are baby led so if your little one needs a feed or nappy change do not hesitate, the strokes are repeated each week so you won't miss anything!!!
I also offer one to one courses within the home environment and if a group of friends can make up their own group within a home I will come to them too! (Please note there is a separate price for private sessions) Price upon request.
All sessions are informal and friendly, Each family will be provided with a bottle of Massage Oil and handouts, and a certificate of attendance at the end.
I provide baby mats for the babies to lay on which are cleaned before and after every use! All I ask for you to provide is a towel to put under baby to keep them warm and to mop up accidents!

If I am approached by several parents who want a course putting on I am willing to do this within my own home this may be more expensive than attending a Childrens Centre Course but the more that attend the cheaper it will be!
